My beloved baby is for sale. Currently parked in Glen Allen just North of Richmond, VA.  She has gotten too much for me to handle, and I will go to a shorty (with wheelchair lift preferred). Asking $15,000, but may be willing to trade for less $$ and a good condition shorty. 

  • 1972 35' Gillig Bus - clean and straight. 

  • Engine - 6V53 Detroit Diesel - new rebuilt engine installed in 2000 with less than 300 miles on it - value $9,900.

  • Transmission - 6 Speed Allison Automatic

  • Top Speed - I have had it up to 70 with ease - she is a cruiser.

  • Tires - 10.00R20 Michelin Radials - all 6 are new as of December 2001 with less than 50 miles on them - value $250 each ($1500).

  • Batteries - 2 deep cell - 12 volt wired in parallel.

  • Average Mileage - 9 MPG

  • History - Klamath Falls Oregon City School District

  • Brakes - Air - hold pressure with no problems.

  • Fuel tanks - 2x 100 gallon tanks located on opposite sides of coach.  Currently has full tanks = 200 gallons.

  • Basement storage - original to bus.

  • Built in storage under bed with 2 large drawers access from front and 2 under ends of mattress.

  • Steel frame double futon with extra support 4" mattress.

  • Steel Kohler sink with high quality dual faucet/sprayer.

  • Magnetic window covers.  Insulating for winter/screens for summer.

Registered as a motor home and licensed and insured in Virginia.
